Welcome to Hotel 81.
Hotel 81 is a brand for a group of more
than 20 hotels (with more than 2000 rooms), located throughout
Singapore. We started as a top value (budget) hotel chain,
and have since moved on to offer more accommodation choices,
with hotels in and near the city centre (known in Singapore
as CBD, ie. Central Business District).
Our Hotels are broadly distributed into
the following areas:
In the City Centre
Hotel 81 Chinatown and Hotel 81 Cosy are located in Chinatown,
and are within walking distance of the heart of CBD such as Shenton Way and Raffles Place.
Hotel 81 Bencoolen and Hotel 81 Bugis are located near the
civic and cultural side of the CBD. This is where Singapore
Management University, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (www.nafa.edu.sg),
Museums (www.nhb.gov.sg)
and shopping malls are located. The world famous Orchard
Road which boasts of a street lined with shopping malls is
also within walking distance. Hotel 81 Bugis is a stone's throw (5 minutes walk) from Suntec City and Convention Centre
(www.sunteccity.com.sg).
Along the same stretch as Suntec City, you must also visit
Esplanade, Theater by the Bay (www.esplanade.com)
and the Singapore famous tourist icon, the Merlion, at the
mouth of the Singapore River.
Near City Centre
Hotel 81 Elegance is located near Jalan Besar Road, a busy
area just outside the Central Business District. Hotel 81 Elegance is also highly
recommended for Malaysians travelling to Singapore on long
distance coaches, as the majority of them stop at Lavender
Street or Golden Mile Complex nearby.
Along Joo Chiat Road
Hotel 81 Joo Chiat, Hotel 81 Opera, Hotel 81 Classic and
Hotel 81 Sakura are located along Joo Chiat Road. Joo Chiat
Road has many eating outlets and restaurants selling ethic
and local cuisine good enough to leave many craving for more.
If you like to relax at the beach, the east coast beach is
just 10 minutes walk away. Along the beach you can rent a bicycle or
rollerblade, swim, suntan and wine & dine in any one
of the numerous good restaurants.
In Geylang Area
Hotel 81 Palace, Hotel 81 Star, Hotel 81 Geylang, Hotel 81
Princess, Hotel 81 Orchid, Hotel 81 Gold and Hotel 81 Hollywood
are all located in an area known as Geylang.
Geylang is the "budget" hotel belt of Singapore,
with more than 50 budget hotels concentrated within a small
geographical area. That said, competition is stiff and we
believe that we offer the better (if not the best) rooms/services
there. Before you check in to any of the 50 or so hotels,
we would seriously recommend that you request to see the
room/s first, before paying the rate. Otherwise, you may
just check into any Hotel 81 (we have 10 there) and have immediate
and uncompromised peace of mind.
Hotel 81 prides itself for offering excellent value for money
accommodation. Room rates start from S$70 nett (about USD$50)
upwards depending on hotel, location and season. Do check

Our rooms are admittedly smaller than those of other hotels that charge
a lot more, but they comes with private toilet/hot shower (with
standard complimentary toiletries), air-conditioning (central
or split), television (with selected cable channels), telephone,
hair dryers and coffee-making facility (complimentary beverages
and mineral water). A numbers of hotels are equipped with
internet broadband connection to the guestrooms and simple
business centre. Around all our hotels, you will easily find
decent eating outlets/restaurants (either fast food or local
cuisines) round the clock. We can also help to order food
in. Thus while we do not serve breakfast in-house, you can
enjoy a wide variety of food, at most reasonable prices,
all round our hotels.
For individual traveller (or travelling as a family), come
and stay with us. Our reasonable rates will ensure that
you have more to set aside for dining and shopping in Singapore.

will never be stranded without a room for the night,
